Caring for Your EKOALPAKA Garment 🌿

At EKOALPAKA, we craft alpaca clothing that’s kind to you and the planet. Here’s how to make yours last – and help protect our earth.

Washing Your Alpaca Garment

• Gentle soak: Use warm water (under 20°C). Push garment down to expel air (alpaca floats!)
• Eco-friendly detergent: Add a spoonful, soak 30 mins. No chemicals – we care about rivers too
• No agitate, no wring: Squeeze gently. Rinse in warm water, dry flat on a towel
• Dry in the sun: Alpacas love sunshine 😊

Keeping Moths Away

• Store in an airtight bag with a moth repellent sachet if you have one.
• Alpaca fiber’s like our hair – moths love the keratin!

Repairs & Care

• Got a snag or moth hole? Contact us – we’ll mend it.
• Our garments are crafted with love by Somerset artisans. We want you to keep them for years.
